At the time of writing, the park consists of 40 attractions and is thus France’s second largest theme park. Parc Astérix is ​​located 35 km north of Paris, and with its many related amusements, where famous cartoon characters adorn the surroundings, Parc Astérix is ​​an ideal destination for families with children.

If you are not planning on sleeping at Parc Aastérix, you can always take one of the many shuttle buses that run from Paris down to the theme park. It takes about 30 minutes – if you prefer by train, there are also a number of departures from Charles de Gaulle airport.

You can’t see the theme park in France, without even saying Disneyland Paris. The park is not the cheapest of its kind, but if you are looking for an theme park with oceans of experiences for the kids, Disneyland Paris is a good bet.

At the time of writing, Disneyland Paris has a whopping 53 rides – and there is something for kids of all ages. Both the wild and the slightly faster. If you are looking for the wild rides, I have found 8 of these:
